PTFE Heat Exchangers: A Universal Solution for Corrosive Environments
Materials of construction for the Immersion Coil Heat Exchanger consists of either polypropylene, PVDF, or PTFE for the frame, and either FEP, PFA, or PTFE for the tubing. Custom designs may include other fluoropolymer materials such as ETFE, ECTFE or PCTFE.

Low operating cost - The operating cost includes maintenance such as inspection, cleaning, downtime, and repair. This is primarily due to the relatively simple design that involves no plastic welding joints.
PTFE is the only viable option for a heat exchanger assembly. With the proper fabrication and right materials,
it offers a very effective, durable, and versatile solution for all industries where heat exchangers are needed.
For heating or cooling of most aqueous acid and alkaline solutions.
All wetted parts of fluoropolymer (FEP, PFA or PTFE) construction.
Heavy duty CPVC mounting bracket.
2 to 4 inch thick perforated guard helps protect the coil from damage.
Heavy wall tubing improves circulation and minimizes pressure drop.
All coils constructed of ½-inch (13mm) tubing
Integral Flexible inlet and outlet manifolds for single point connections greatly reduce the potential for leaks and simplify installation.
Standard coils are made from FEP (Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene) and rated up to 30 PSI steam service.
PFA (Perfluoroakoxy resin) coils are available for steam service up to 60 PSI.
10 PSI minimum steam pressure required for operation.
Consult factory regarding pressure reduced applications.
Eliminates stray currents in the tank.
5.5 ft2 to 120 ft2 of exchange area standard.
